Your new job as a Senior Translation Project Manager (m/f/d), working in Mönchengladbach/remotely

We are currently looking for full-time Senior Translation Project Manager (m/f/d) to work with us at our headquarters in Mönchengladbach and/or remotely.

Your role

  • As a Senior Translation Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the operational and strategic customer support/consulting and smooth processing of language service projects with a focus on A/AA customers (key accounts)
  • You will be responsible for the onboarding of new key accounts from the sales department
  • You will take care of project planning, costing and management: from arranging quotes to the invoicing of multilingual translation jobs
  • As the key contact person for all project stakeholders, you develop tailored solutions for your customers and optimize customer-specific processes
  • You will identify new business opportunities and the associated decision-makers and work closely with our sales team to ensure the smooth onboarding of new customers and driving further customer acquisition
  • Communicate in an international environment and help set up in-house processes to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently
  • Use your position as the point of direct contact with clients to keep your ear to the ground and report on market trends and future requirements in the field of language services

Your profile

  • You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally at least 2 years in the translation industry, and you have a proven track record as a manager
  • You have a degree in translation, linguistics or marketing or have equivalent training and qualifications
  • You are highly customer-oriented and have good consulting skills. You have outstanding problem-solving and communication skills and are able to work independently
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and can be flexible and creative when it comes to order processing
  • You use your leadership skills and your diplomatic, solution-focused communication style to interact confidently with people at all company levels
  • You combine your customer-centric attitude with flexibility and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • You have solid computer and MS Office skills as well as experience with CAT tools and are generally IT-savvy
  • Your German is native-speaker level and your spoken and written English is very good
