How we work

A career in the translation industry? You bet. And not only as a translator!
Of course, we always welcome language professionals – like translation managers who support a regular client base, or the proofreaders who give our translations the finishing touch. But we’re also looking for people with other areas of expertise – like in IT, sales, marketing or HR.

We want our employees to feel at home with us so that they can provide our clients with the best possible service and top quality. By offering flexible hours, remote work options and a healthy work-life balance, we work to meet our employees’ need for flexibility and a balanced lifestyle.

Five steps to your new job

If you are interested in one of our openings, just send us your application by email to: bewerbung@act-translations.com. Your application should contain a personalized cover letter, your current resume, relevant academic and/or professional certifications and references from your previous jobs.

Once your documents have received a positive review and any questions have been clarified, we will contact you to schedule a telephone interview. This will give you a first overall impression of our company and will give us the chance to get to know you a bit better. We’ll also be able to explain the responsibilities the position involves and answer your questions.

If we still believe that we’d make a good fit, then we’ll schedule a brief suitability assessment. This will help you to see what tasks await you and give us a first impression of your knowledge and skills.

After this, we’ll finally meet in person for an on-site interview. Here we’ll dive a bit deeper, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask all the questions you have.

Success! We’ve both decided we’re a good fit. Now we can finalize your contract.
